Here is the Quilter herself, posing with her Second Place ribbon from the Arizona Quilt Show in 2008. Damn fine work!

Another award winner!  This time an Honorable Mention at the Arizona Quilt Show in 2009!

Butterflies in the Round:  Created using templates from "Strips N' Curves".  Started in a class at Amidon in February 2003 and finished August 2003.  Quilted by Wendy Knight.  One of my favorite quilts; I really like the borders and piping.

This Bargello was started in a class at Amidon in May 2002.  Finished January 2003; quilted by the Quilted Rose.  I consider this my first complete quilt.

I collected a number of blue and yellow fabrics and this simple Chinese Coin pattern seemed like a good choice to display them.  Finished September 2004; quilted by Annette _.

I created this wall hanging and a similar one to commemorate my son Scott's year as Captain of the UCSB Ultimate team, The Black Tide.  (The other quilt was for his co-captain, Asa).  I printed the photos on fabric sheets I had created using Bubble Jet solution.  I decided on a strip and curves design to add some pizzazz; the blue is to represent water and the yellow represents discs (the Ultimate word for Frisbee) or the sun.  The red oil derrick is their logo (and printing on the red fabric took a few try's to find a red that was thin enough to go through the printer).  The teams cheers are quilted in the border; awesome quilting job by Wendy Knight.

This quilt was created for a special UCSB graduate, Lisa.  She requested red and purple and I had wanted to take a class taught by Wendy Knight using three different templates that allow you to create miss-matched circles.  This was more of a design challenge than I anticipated!  Finished November 2006 and quilted by Wendy Knight.
