Unfortunately, I don't have one of my Novice cards. I made this one in Junior High School print shop after I got my General license in 1966.

I moved to a small town near Syracuse and got very lucky - the FCC re-issued WA2BPH to me. It has since been re-issued again.

After graduation from college in 1973, I moved to Phoenix and my callsign luck changed.

When the FCC allowed call selection (the first "vanity" call sign program) in 1976, I got my first choice. I'll probably keep it until I die.

This was my first attempt at a picture QSL. I bought 1000 postcards and had them printed over with my call.

My first DXpedition and although it wasn't sponsored by them, it was the first of many, many expeditions by the members of the Central Arizona DX Association.
