The Cat
The kids have left home, so here are some photos of our resident PITA. As of March 24, 2011, the cat has left home too. There is a big hole in the house....
Susan's Quilts

Susan's Quilts
Susan is becoming a quilter extraordinaire (at least in my opinion) and here is the proof (see the first photo). Here are some of the quilts she has completed (more to come).
Linda's Marathon
-
Linda
My step-daughter, Linda, trained with the Leukemia Society's Team In Training to run the PF Chang Rock and Roll Marathon in Phoenix, AZ on January 13, 2008.
She made it! Congratulations Linda!
This is a great program (I ran the Anchorage Marathon in 2001 with TNT) - they will coach you to survive 26.2 miles and the money you raise will help find a cure for Leukemia. You can still donate to this very important cause through Linda's participation. Here is the link - please donate if you can. Thanks!
Scott's Ironman
-
Scott
My step-son, Scott, finished his first (and maybe his last?) Ironman Triathlon on June 26, 2011 in 14 hours and 45 minutes. He swam, biked and ran in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. If you don't know, an Ironman Triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim (in this case, in Lake Coeur d'Alene which was 58 degrees F at the time!), a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile swim. This is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to Scott's training and physical fitness. If only I could still do this stuff....
Congratulations Scott!
